All my lampwork beads are properly annealed in my Paragon kiln for strength and durability, checked for any defects, and cleaned with a Dremel tool.
Two hand wound (on 3/32 mandrels) disk beads. They are 7mm wide with a 16mm diameter.
These beads have slight fine silver inclusions at the core.
This colorway reminds me of walking in the shoals off the beach. I don’t live near the ocean but I love it and try to get to the beach at least a couple of times a year.

I create most of my own metal components. When I have not created the metal or bead used it will be so noted in the listing. I'm a native Texan married with two kids, three cats, and one spoiled dachshund. Creating with glass is my passion. I also enjoy metalsmithing, wirework, crochet, and sewing. Oh, and shopping on Etsy! :) When I'm not lampworking you can catch me riding around Texas in my truck hunting for new antique stores, attending museum shows and galleries, or hanging out on my backyard swing reading. I also enjoy making beads for Beads of Courage. Beads of Courage is a program that provides beads to children in cancer treatment to help them mark their journey. It is a remarkable program and I am honored to be able to participate in some small way. You can read more about the organization here: http://www.beadsofcourage.org I contribute at least once a month to a animal rescue group, some locally and some in areas far away from me. Animals have given me so much in my life so I try to give back as often as I can. >^..^< View all posts by alb6094
